Chip wringer (Model VBU3000) Small metal chips are metered continuously
and fed into the
wringer's charge funnel. The chips slide into the fast spinning bowl and
are accelerated up the
bowls RPM. High G-forces drive the chips up the bowls side wall and over
the coolant exit slots
located on the upper edge of the bowl. In this process the coolant is wr
ung off the chips and
forced out through the coolant exit slots. The dried chips pass over the
upper bowl edge and are
guided via the wringer housing and discharge funnel into a discharge conv
eyor or chip bin.
Coolant is reclaimed to be processed and/or reused.
Load out drag conveyor Carries dry chips from wringer to discharge
Discharge swivel chute Directs dry chips in to containers (not supplied)
for removal/recycling.
Fines removal conveyor Pumped coolant goes removal with drag conveyor to
remove fines, etc.
