Most machines* sold from our on-site inventory come with a 30-day return privilege, so you can be confident that the equipment you purchase from CNC Exchange is in good working order. You are not required to inspect the machine in person to take advantage of this policy, saving you the time and money involved in traveling to our showroom. We stand by the equipment we sell; if there are problems, we take the machine back and refund your money, or we repair it.

30-Day MDNA Repair/Return Privilege

As a member of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA), CNC Exchange subscribes to the MDNA Code of Ethics, which identifies high standards of business practice. Among the requirements MDNA expects its members to meet is this:

Accept within 30 days from shipment any machinery and equipment sold with return privilege, freight prepaid, for refund of the purchase price if proven mechanically unsatisfactory; or repair at dealer’s option.

What Does the Repair/Return Privilege Mean?

The buyer has 30 days to determine that the purchased machine is as it was represented. If it is not, then the seller (in this case, CNC Exchange) repairs what needs to be fixed to get the machine to the condition as represented, or the seller takes the machine back and refunds the buyer’s money if the equipment is proven mechanically unsatisfactory. The decision to repair or return the machine is up to us as the seller.

This return/repair privilege does not apply to equipment sold on an “as-is” basis or damaged in transit. Unless specified in writing, machinery sold at less than the original quoted price is considered “as-is.” And, equipment purchased by us from a third party to fill a customer order does not carry return/repair privilege unless specifically given by the third-party seller.
