Talyrond 290 is the flagship of the mid-range roundness geometry
instruments offering high measurement capacity and fully automated axes.
These include automation of the gauge attitude and orientation for fast,
repetitive measurement.
Talyrond 290 incorporates a bi-directional spindle with absolute
positioning capabilities, providing highly accurate and repeatable
positining. Highly accurate vertical straightness and cylindricity
measurements are made possible by the use of a ceramic arm; a
material that provides the stifness and rigidity that ensures the
relationship between the arm and the spindle axis remains constant
throughout the whole measurement cycle.
