GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:

REMANUFACTURING PROCEDURES FOR 340-20 CINCINNATI TWIN GRIP
1. Completely dismantle grinder.
2. Disassemble all units.
3. Clean all parts of machine.
4. Paint all parts of machine.
5. Regrind or rescrape Regulating Wheel - Upper and Lower Slides. Rescr
ape or replace and
adjust Gibs. Replace lead screw with heavy duty precision ground bal
l screw with zero
backlash nut. Rework end bracket to fit Harmonic drive and servo mot
or.
6. Regrind and rescrape Regulating Wheel Dresser Slides. Check and rebu
ild hydraulics.
7. Regrind or rescrape Grinding Wheel Dresser Slides. Check and rebuild
hydraulics.
8. Ceramic coat Regulating Wheel Spindle and rescrape and adjust Bronze
Bearings. Install servo
motor and spindle by coupling and angle gear reduction box. This rep
laces standard
regulating wheel drive.
9. Ceramic coat Grinding Wheel Spindle, replace or rebabbit Bearings and
scrape to suit Spindle.
10. Remove transmission and all related regulating wheel drive parts.
11. Rebuild Hydraulic Unit and pump. Replace Hoses, Fittings as necessar
y.
12. Replace all Chains, Sprocket and Belts as necessary.
13. Overhaul Lubrication System.
14. Assemble machine and test.
NOTE Work has been completed and machine is ready to ship.
