P.R. HOFFMAN SERIES 3600 DOUBLE SIDED LAPPER

The 3600 is a double sided, planetary lapping and polishing machine f
or processing parts
as large as 10" in diameter. It is capable of generating flatness to
less than 1 helium light
band per inch, parallelism to .00002", uniform thickness to +/- .0000
5" and surface
finishes of 1 r.m.s. or less on wide variety of materials. The rugge
d design of the 3600
Series Lapping or Polishing machine offers the ability to process mat
erial at high pressures
for fast removal rates or low pressures for slower stock removal and
thin, fragile work.
The unique "jog" feature insures ease of loading/unloading of parts b
y giving the operator
the ability to index each workholder to the front of the machine. In
short, the 3600 Series
machine is a quality machine tool for processing materials that requi
re precise flatness and
parallelis.
