PRIMA RAPIDO 5 AXIS CNC LASER, 2500 WATT

RAPIDO is a 5 axes laser machine suitable for cutting and welding applications on 3D components.
The following table (Tab.1) shows the main features of the machine:
1.2 Mechanical features
The mechanical structure is of cantilever type.
The carriages X, Y, Z are equipped with linear guides and slide on roller bearings. This system
ensures high accuracy even exploiting the machine at the limit of its speed and acceleration performances.
Furthermore, this kind of movement is very reliable and its maintenance is single and easy
to be performed.
The X, Y and Z linear axes are equipped with "brushless" motors connected to gear-boxes with
antiback-lash system. The movement of the axes is given by a ball screw coupling .
The A, B (the rotating axes) and C (the adaptive axis) axes are equipped with D.C. motor.
1.3 Access to the working area
The machine structure allows a direct access, after protection cabin opening, to the working area on
three sides : front, left and right side. This allows to easily perform the programming, the loading of
the workpiece (sheet-metal, e.g.), the manual unloading of the worked parts and the maintenance
(Fig.1).
