X-Axis:
The X-axis is the Bridge axis and moves left to right.
The Steel bridge will span the 48 inch dimension. Actual Stroke is 49 inches.
Maximum Feed rate is 800 inches per minute.
Bridge Rails are 25 mm profiled ways with recirculating ball bearings.
The X-axis is driven by a recirculating ball bearing, ball nut, lead screw assembly. The lead screw spins and is supported on each end by angular contact bearings.
Y Axis:
The Y-axis is the gantry axis and moves front to back.
The gantry spans the 48 inch dimension. Actual Stroke is 98 inches.
Maximum Feed rate is 800 inches per minute.
The Table Rails are 25 mm profiled ways with recirculating ball bearings.
The Y-axis is driven by a recirculating ball nut. lead screw assembly. The lead screw spins and is supported on each end by angular contact bearings.
Z-Axis:
The Z-axis travel is 7 inches. Clearance under the bridge is 8 inches. The Z-axis Rails are 25 mm profiled ways with recirculating ball bearings.
Maximum Feed rate 400 inches per minute.
The Z-axis is driven by a recirculating ball nut, lead screw assembly. The lead screw spins and is supported by angular contact bearings.
The Z-axis is counter balanced by a pneumatic cylinder.
Spindle:
HSD 915 � 5 HP, ISO-30 Type Push-Button, Quick-Change/ATC Spindle. Frequency inverter driven with electronic braking for quick stops and
programmable spindle speeds from 2,000 to 20,000 rpm. Maximum collet size up to 1" inch with ER 40 tool holder. Includes 1 - ER 40 tool holder with collet,
cover nut and spindle wrench. The spindle is electric fan cooled for quiet Operation.
Control:
Fagor Controller: 8035 M. This controller is fully compatible with popular CAD/CAM
software. Some of the many features include: an 7.5 inch color LCD monitor, 256 k base memory, 127 MB Compact Flash Drive, 3D Graphics, DNC communications via a serial port and a USB port (includes user and operator manuals on CD).
Power requirements:
208/220 Volts, 3-phase, 60 HZ, 30 Amps (Machine only)
Air requirements:
5 cfm at 95 psi is the minimum air pressure required for the HSD ES915 spindle to function properly. Customer is responsible for providing the compressed air.
Dust collection:
1,000 CFM per spindle. A dust collector is not included with the machine.
