The no. 6 D Multiple Spindle Drill is a table fed machine, particular
ly designed
to handle medium light casting, pipe, and bar work.
This machine 'fits in' where high production is required at minimum c
osts, and
through the spiral drive and quick-adjustable head features, two of t
he
outstanding characterstics of the "HOLE HOG" line, it is possible to
adapt this
machine to a number of different jobs.
The no. 6 Driller has cam feed with cams arranged to give rapid appro
ach of
work to drills, proper feed, dwell, if necessary, and quick return of
the work to
loading position and traverse stopped, or can be arranged with suffic
ient dwell
in cams for the unloading and loading of the work, operating the mach
ine
continuously. The traverse is started by shifting a conveniently loc
ated lever.
