EXCELLO MODEL 50 THREAD GRINDER

The style 50 is an accurate flexible
machine that, in addition to all ordinary
thread grinding requirements, will grind
unusually long threads such as those on
machine tool lead screws. An internal
attachment also permits grinding a wide
range of internally threaded work. These
features recommend it for tool room use,
and on long threaded work its a good
production machine,too. Single and
multiple, right and lefthand threads in
straight or radius forms can be ground
in any pitch from 1 to 80 threads per inch.
The work table is actuated by a lead screw
driven by a variable speed hydraulic motor
and lead is determined by the arrangement
of change gears.
