Barnes Drill Combination Magnetic and Fabric Filter. This two-state file
r, consisting of a
magnetic separator and fabric filter, is for the removal of ferrous and n
on-ferrous contaminant and
is contained in a single, compact unit.
For positive, "two stage" coolant cleaning, Barnes Drill engineers have c
ombined the fabric filter
with the popular Barnes Drill magnetic separator. In the first stage, di
rty coolant flows through a
powerful magnetic field that removes ferrous particles. In the second st
ate, it passes through a
filter which removes non-ferrous contaminants.
With "two stage" coolant cleaning, fabric consumption is even lower than
on models without the
magnetic drum because the magnets remove the heavy ferrous load before t
he coolant reaches
the fabric.
