GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:

The Rockford Storage facility was originally erected in 1982 by Eckstrom-
Carlson &
Co. Eckstrom's expansion project was designed to enhance their manufactu
ring of
machine tools (Precision bridge type computerized routers). Ideally loca
ted, the
25,000 square feet plant, is only 75 miles from Chicago O'Hare Internatio
nal Airport,
10 minutes from the greater Rockford Airport, and 3 miles off the main Il
linois
interstate highway system. The building's construction is precast concre
te with 12'
thick reinforced concrete floors. There are (2) 20 ton overhead cranes,
a rubber
reinforced roof, sprinkler system, heat & air conditioning, (1) fully enc
losed recessed
dock, and (2) 20' wide overhead doors.
The former manufacturing facility lends itself beautifully to conversion
to an Industrial
storage facility. The all white interior, of the Rockford storage buildi
ng is bright,
crisp & clean. 2000 Amps electrical service is wired throughout the plan
t along with
compressed air and water.
