The MC-50 Kine-Roller family consists of two cylindrical die roll for
ming and roll finishing
machines of building block design such that a wide range of f
unctions and capacities
can be achieved with a group of standard components.
The basic MC-50-FT Kine-Roller with skewed die axis is capable of all
types of thru-feed
roll forming and roll finishing within its capability range.
Some of its common
applications are
a) Thru-feed roll finishing of cylindrical rod
b) Thru-feed roll forming of threaded rod
c) Thru-feed roll forming of repeating annular shapes
such as fins, flanges
or balls
d) Thru-feed roll forming of axial shapes such as serr
ations and shallow
involute forms
e) Thru-feed roll sizing and rounding of some types of
cylindrical rod
f) Thru-feed roll straightening
When
an infeed system of either the mechanical or hydra
ulic type, the
MC-50-FI with parallel die axes is capable of all types of in
feed work within the load
and power capacity of the components. Some of the common app
lications are
a) Infeed roll-finishing of cylindrical, ball and othe
r annular surfaces
b) Infeed roll-forming of annular shapes, flanges and
grooves
c) Infeed roll-forming of helical forms such as theads
, worms and spiral flutes
d) Infeed roll-forming of axial shapes such as knurls,
splines, serrations and other
similar forms
The production rates of the MC-50-F Kine-Roller machines can vary wid
ely. These rates
depend on the machine building blocks, the die design, the pa
rt specfiications and the
work handling technique or feeding equipment used. Therefore
, the work maximum
diameters, work lengths and/or actuation cycles cannot necess
arily be achieved
simultaneously.
