The model 252 is the most versatile drill and tool grinder available toda
y. The 252 can grind
odd-fluted tools (1,3,5,& 7) as well as even-fluted (2,4,6, & 8) This is
achieved with the use of a
unique dual-cam workhead. The inner cam drum is rotating at a 21 gear r
ation to grind even-
fluted tools. The outer drum is turning at a 11 ratio for odd-fluted to
ols. The model 250A and
380 have the 21 ratio only. All models use hardened cams and the cam ch
ange takes only 5
seconds. When no cams are in place, the workhead can be used to spin gri
nd or index grind (12
positions).
