The model 252 is the most versatile drill and tool grinder available toda
y.
The 252 can grind odd-fluted tools (1,3,5,&7) as well as even-fluted (2
,4,6,&8)
This is achieved with the use of a unique dual-cam workhead. The inner
cam
drum is rotating at a 21 gear ratio to grind even-fluted tools. The o
uter drum
is turning at a 11 ratio for odd-fluted tools. The model 250A and 380
have
the 21 ratio only. All models use hardened cams and the cam change ta
kes
only five seconds. When no cams are in place, the workhead can be used
to
spin grind or index grind (12 positions).
