SCR Motor Drive
A new SCR motor drive matched to the above motor will be supplied. A 1000
KVA isolation
transformer will be suppplied for the mixer motor.

Feed Throat
The feed throat will be steel fabrication doweled and bolted to the conne
cting
gear housing. It will contain C-type liners and be cored for cooling. I
t
will incorporate technical process & engineering's extended feed throat
design. This will allow the feed throat opening to accept the larger mat
erial
feed stream.
Item M10
Body Mixer Section
The mixer body will be a steel fabrication with liners, cored for water-c
ooling.
The mixer body will be divided into two temperature zones. We will inclu
de two
process-plug holes for venting or insertion of a mixing dam. We will sup
ply
two plugs and one dam for ports. It will be furnished with electric heat
ing
and water-cooling. A vent port plunger will be supplied to keep the vent
port free of material. See option M10A for spare body liners.

Orifice Gate Assembly
The orifice assembly will be a hardened and ground steel gate, operated
by an Electro-mechanical actuator. A porition indicator allows the orifi
ce to be
moved to and reset at a standard position for each of your particular pro
ducts.
The orifice will be Teflon lined.

Dust Seals
The outlet of the mixer will be

"Visco" type dust seals.

Rotors
One set style #7L/R; #15S/R two-piece rotors will be made of high strengt
h
alloy-steel, chrome plated for high abrasion resistance, and cored for
water-cooling.

New 1000 HP AC Motor
A new reliance AC motor can be supplied. IT will be a 1000 HP AC motor.
This motor will deliver full torque at 300 RPM with a 1000 HP rating. It

will deliver full torque under 300 RPM with an 850 HP rating. The 850 HP
ok for start-up rating will be enough to start the mixer. We will supply
it with a Liqui-flow drive Add for this option $23,265.00

A spare set of rotors can be provided. The rotors will be #7/#15 combinat

Item E1
Extruder Feed Throat Insert
A new feed throat insert will be provided to accept the hit melt strip
from the continuous mixer. The insert will be bolted into place be
removing the current ram stuffer and installing the insert. It will
incorporate Technical Process & Engineering's "J" block design for
superior feeding of the hot melt material. As such it will provide a
stable output to the Pelletizer with minimal pressures fluctuations
providing other variables, such as feed rate, temperature, etc., are
held constant. The feed throat will be water-cooled.

Electrically heat extruder feed throat insert.
Touch screen panel, 1,000 KVA Transformer, upgraded gearbox for 1,000 HP
motor, even speed gearing, #7/#15 rotor combination, vent port plunger,
