LEWIS MODEL CRRCD-2520-AUTO AUTOMATIC ULTRASONIC CLEANING

This machine is a multi-stage washing, rinsing, rush inhibiting, and
drying automated cabinetized cleaning system designed to clean PDE/GEN II
components. This unit will clean components placed in 9" x 20" trays whic
h
are automatically loaded in gondolas. Two (2) trays are automatically
loaded in each gondola. The production rate is one gondola every 5 to 6
minutes or 20 to 24 trays per hour. The automated cleaning system consist
s
of the following
a. Input accumulating conveyor
b. Automated programmable hoist
c. Turbulated wash tank with oil coalescing tank
d. Ultrasonic wash tank with oil coalescing tank
e. Immersion rinse tank
f. Ultrasonic rust inhibit tank
g. Conveyorized, steam heated dryer
1. Trays are placed onto input accumulating conveyor one at a time where the

will stop at the four (4) pop-up stations.
2. Trays will be automatically loaded onto gondolas at load station (two (2)
per gondola).
3. Loaded gondolas are processed through the series of two (2) wash tanks an
d
three (3) rinse tanks.
4. At the end of the wash process, carriers are automatically unloaded onto
the conveyorized dryer while hoist returns empty gondola to the load stati
on.
5. Prior to entering the dryer, carriers pass through an air knife powered b
y
a pressure blower to help eliminate solution from the process parts.
6. Dryer is a recirculating, forced, hot, air type with a steam coil as its
heat source.
7. The trays are conveyed into the clean room where they are to be manually
unloaded.
