Designed for using vitrified, CBN or diamond abrasive (resin-bonded or plated)
High-volume coolant flow for wet grinding
Integrated centrifuge filtration system for reduced footprint and shop floor cleanliness
Clarity of the filtration system is rated at 2 to 5 microns
Integrated crane on KFS250S and KFS250SS for easy loading and unloading of larger hobs

Fanuc CNC control of all four axes eliminates manual setup and maximizes accuracy and repeatability with an operator-friendly prompting program as well as CNC storage of cutter data
Sharpens hobs to AGMA (American Gear Manufacturers Association) class �AAA� quality
Pneumatic tailstock provides positive clamping pressure while grinding

Optional helical gash hob sharpening capability with custom CNC hardware and software for electronic generation of the gash lead. This feature includes a heavy-duty swivel plate with precision planetary drive system for CNC swivel

angle setting. The spindle swivel angle, "B" axis, is positioned by Fanuc servo motor to the required gash and dressing angle. Automatic crown dressing cycle for vitrified wheels based upon data generated by an external PC program is included to provide correct rake for helical gash hobs. Requires Item 920.
