Six times faster and much superior to I.D. grinding, the ML-3500 produces work faster and with greater accuracy and consistency, especially where diameters are less than 40 mm (1.57 in.). The machine assures constant stroke length and stroke rates, resulting in better control of bore size, finish and geometry at high production rates.
With the fast stock removal rates of the ML-3500, you can eliminate preliminary reaming, boring or grinding on many jobs, and you can rough and finish on the hone. This is one of the most versatile machines available, handling workpieces of almost any size or configuration. It cuts all kinds of materials fast and clean. And it is easy to run. In fact, even an unexperienced operator can run the ML-3500 with ease. In many cases, you can also use your existing tooling for even lower production costs.
