MOLAN COOLANT FILTRATION & CHIP REMOVAL SYSTEM

COOLANT FILTER
Mon-A-Vac disposable media filter to filter 500 gallons per minute of
water soluble coolant
from your machining operation. This filter unit will be approximately
6' wide x 4' high.
The unit discharges at 5' above plant floor. The filter has 40 square
feet of filter area, and
is automatic in operation. The filter-system and stand by pump is Gor
man-Rupp self priming
centrifugal pumps with 20 HP, 1750 RPM, T.E.F.C. "T" frame motors.
COOLANT FLUMES
Flumes are designed in standard "U" shape and fabricated from 10 gauge
steel, complete with
curb angles, concrete anchors, mitered 90 degree turns and (10) ten to
p flush nozzle
assemblies.
CHIP CONVEYOR (FLOOR MOUNTED)
Receives coolant and chips from all machines through the flumes. The
conveyor delivers the
chips into the chip wringer.
CHIP WRINGER
The chip wringer is a "CMI" Model HD-500 horizontal continuous type wr
inger with feed in
top and discharge from bottom
ELEVATING CHIP CONVEYOR
A screw type conveyor approximately 30' long is designed to convey up
to 1,000 lbs. per hour
of chips.
This conveyor is complete with inlet hopper, floor mounted supports ne
ar inlet end.
ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL
NEMA-12 Master control panel constructed to J.I.C. specifications. Th
e panel is floor
mounted and contain a fused master disconnect switch, control transfor
mer and full voltage
across the line NEMA rated motor starters for the filter pumps, chip w
ringer and conveyors.
