a "Hi-Lift" dumping system used to lift chips
and automatically dump them into the 6' 6" x 12"
diameter horizontal screw conveyor. This permits chips
to be loaded at ground level with wheeled chip carts.
The conveyor moves the chips into a 2 roll model 2020M
mechanical shredder which is AR - 500
cutting teeth. After these parts have been shredded,
they go into a rotary parts separator which separates
bar ends from 30" continuous chip wringer which stands
4'6" tall and has a 10 HP motor. After oil has been
extracted from the chips they are pneumatically blown
through 5" schedule 40 discharge piping into a target
box. The target box has a swivel shute which direct
the chips into any hopper which is within the swivel
range.
