TWO (2) HOFFMAN 4800 SERIES MODEL 60T

The 4800 is a double sided, planetary lapping and polishing machine
for use in high
production environments. The 4800 is available in two (2) models,
60T and 90T. The 60 T
model accepts nine (9) workholders, and can process parts up to 10"
in diameter, the 90T
model accepts five (5) workholders and can process parts as large a
s 17" in diameter in each
workholder. Both models are capable of generating flatness to less
than 1 helium light band
per inch, parallelism to .00002", uniform thickness to +/- .00005"
and surface finishers of 1
r.m.s. or less on a wide variety of materials.
