for gear honing. The KHS-300 assures that the accuracy of the worm-shaped h
ones in maintained
to the correct limits. This machine can generate a worm shaped hone with an
y pitch. When using
a vitrified bonded type hone blank the use of a diamond wheel is required to
maintain the proper
Thread pitch. The vitrified bonded wheel is used for finish grinding to obt
ain a more accurate
thread.
Since this machine may be used as a thread grinder too, it is possible to gr
ind the periphey of a
cylindrical workpiece.
