The piece to be bent is securely clamped while an oscillating d
ie wipes or bends the
work around a Mandrel, after which the wiping die reverses, the clamp
die is released and
the Mandrel withdrawn from the piece.
The wiper die movement arc is varied by cans, making it possibl
e to change the degree
of bend within the complete range from a very slight angular bend to a
full closed eye.
Capacity 1-1/2" Round Stock around a 2" Mandrel (Bent Hot)
