BCP WHEELABRATOR 72" X 36" STRUCTURAL BLAST CLEANING MACHINE

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:

A pitless free-standing shot blast cabinet with integral shot reclaim, ou
tlet
plenum and vestibules which will pass work up to 72" wide x 36" high.
The blast cabinet is fabricated with 3/8" thick 11 to 13% manganese steel
plate, and lined opposite the blast stream with 1/2" thick cast chromem
oly
liners in line with the blast.
Four (4) blast wheel units, each containing four (4), 15" diameter x 2.5
" wide
blast wheels for a total of four (4) powered by 25 HP, 3600 rpm direct
connected motors. The blast wheels are completely housed in 5/8" thick
manganese steel housings with cast chromemoly liners in line.
Abrasive reclaim consists of hoppers slope to two (2) 8" x 24" belt and b
ucket
elevators, and two (2) No. 20 airwash separators.
Blast wheel feed control is by gravity overflow at separator.
Two (2) vestibules, on prior to and one after the blast chamber, provide
abrasive containment. Each contains three (3) sets of quick change abr
asive
containment curtains. Vestibules are fabricated with 1/4" thick mild
steel plate.
Five (5) 3 1/2" diameter cabinet rolls at 4'-0" work height, including an
operator controlled, 1-1/2HP, variable speed drive providing a speed ra
nge
of 2 to 15 fpm. Cabinet rolls located on 32" centers to accommodate
workpieces as short as 8'-0" long.
Two (2) 40'-0" long roll conveyors at the entry and exit of the machine.
Conveyors with 3 1/2" diameter rolls, complete with variable speed driv
e and
standard guards. Rolls to be on 36" centers and driven from conveyor d
rive
on machine. 20'-0" next to the machine is powered. The next 20'-0" no
n-powered.
40'-0" long abrasive spill hopper under the exit roll conveyor, complete
with
screw conveyor.
A JPC 12, 4500 cfm cartridge dust collector to provide cabinet and abrasi
ve
separator ventilation.
Ducting from machine to dust collector. (maximum 30'-0" to dust collecto
r).
Totally enclosed, fan cooled motors.
All electrical wiring from the control panel to the individual motors and
controls.
Prewired control panel in a NEMA 12 gasketed enclosure.
