Spindle Drive
With a 4 HP A.C. motor with frequency converter. Speed adjustments
infinitely variable. Total range of adjustment 1200-6000 RPM
Knee Table
The machine features a heavy duty 2-axis table with anti-friction
bearings. Vertical and horizontal table movement by A.C. servo motors
through ballscrews. Positions for the X & Y are displayed on the
operator's panel CRT screen.
Drill Guide Housing
Special chip box housing with chip chute to direct chips toward the
rear of the machine. A pneumatic power bushing holder is located on
the front of the housing to provide clearance during workpiece
positioning and contact sealing while drilling.
Feed System
Drilling thrust is provided to the feed carriage by a precision ground
recirculating ballscrew. The ballscrew is driven by an A.C. servo motor
and provides infinitely variable feed to the tool. A.C. servo motors
offer these advantages

Free-standing control panel with all required electrical components.
Machine functions are actuated and monitored thru a programmable
controller.
The Fanuc System Model OM-C is housed in a separate free-standing
cabinet adjacent to the machine. This is a 3-axis CNC, especially
designed for drilling machines. Then system OM-Model C includes all
standard control features & the following additional features
